Hezbollah’s capabilities extend to every location within occupied Palestine: Sheikh Naim Qassem

The newly installed leader of Hezbollah has asserted that the Lebanese resistance movement is resolute in compelling Israel to negotiate an end to its military actions against Lebanon. He emphasized that the current conflict can only be resolved through military engagement.

In his second public statement since taking over leadership on Wednesday, Sheikh Naim Qassem declared that there are no locations within Israel that remain beyond the reach of their drones and missiles.

He stated that Hezbollah was not dependent on diplomatic initiatives to bring an end to the conflict.

“We do not base our actions on the outcome of U.S. elections, regardless of whether Kamala Harris succeeds or Donald Trump emerges victorious; these results hold no significance for us,” stated the source.

Hezbollah has expressed its readiness to influence the situation by engaging in military action, according to statements made by one of its representatives.

In a recent statement, Qassem revealed that Hezbollah has been gearing up for potential confrontations since the July 2006 conflict. The group has focused on bolstering its training regimen, expanding its arsenal, and refining its operational capabilities to ensure readiness.

In a recent statement, he expressed confidence in overcoming Israel through resilience, preparedness, and enduring strength. He emphasized the importance of patience and perseverance, asserting that their commitment to the cause will remain steadfast until victory is achieved.

He indicated that Israel’s efforts to overcome Hezbollah and occupy Lebanon are unlikely to succeed, citing Hezbollah’s resilience and unwavering commitment to defending its homeland.

“We aim to ensure that the Israeli adversary recognizes its position in the conflict as one of defeat, rather than victory; this strategic setback will impede it from accomplishing its objectives.”

The Lebanese leader has accused Israel of seeking to eradicate Hezbollah’s influence and potentially occupy Lebanon, even if from a remote position using aerial tactics. He further warned that the Israeli government is planning to transform Lebanon into a situation similar to that of the West Bank.

Sheikh Qassem announced that the regime’s third initiative involves developing a strategic map of West Asia.

These measures were sought by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who initiated military actions in Lebanon in pursuit of this initial objective.

**Israeli Military Faces Challenges in Advancing Operations**

The secretary-general of Hezbollah stated that recent impactful operations by the Resistance have left the regime in a state of confusion.

Israeli officials have acknowledged encountering intense resistance, which has reportedly led them to halt further military operations due to a lack of viable targets. This development comes amidst heightened confrontations in the region.

According to Qassem, the regime underestimated the resilience of combatants who possess strong Islamic beliefs, enabling them to remain resolute in their pursuit of truth, liberation, and dignity.

“Along the borders, there are tens of thousands of well-trained Resistance fighters prepared to face and withstand challenges.”

Sheikh Qassem has stated that the combatants have committed their lives to a higher spiritual calling, prioritizing faith over material pursuits. He emphasized that their triumphs, both in this life and beyond, are rooted in their steadfast resistance against occupation.

He stated that the resilience of the Resistance is rooted in its unwavering resolve and persistence, despite the unevenness in military capabilities.

**”Dialogue Contingent on Cessation of Hostilities”**

Sheikh Qassem stated that the future holds greater significance, with past events serving as a mere preview of what is to come.

The official stated that cessation of hostilities by the adversary could open avenues for dialogue facilitated by the Lebanese government and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, who symbolizes the mantle of political resistance.

“The cornerstone of any negotiation process involves two critical elements: firstly, halting aggression, and secondly, uncompromisingly safeguarding Lebanon’s sovereignty.”

Nasrallah Viewed as a Role Model

In his address, Sheikh Qassem honored the late leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, describing him as an exemplary figure among noble leaders dedicated to walking in God’s path and making significant sacrifices.

He observed that Nasrallah is regarded globally as an emblem of Resistance, holding a prominent place in the hearts of many.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is often regarded as a remarkable leader and an inspiring figure, noted for his courage and boldness. He is recognized both as a scholar in the Velayat school of thought and as a symbol of the movement for Palestinian liberation.

“He expressed that the illumination of his words serves as a guiding force, and his stances steer us towards a life of dignity,” he remarked.

Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has lauded Hassan Nasrallah, describing him as “unparalleled,” a description he termed as highly commendable.

Sheikh Qassem hailed Nasrallah for establishing a robust party that unites diverse segments of society, comprising individuals of all ages, genders, and those committed to freedom and resistance.

Hezbollah remains steadfast in its opposition to Israel while simultaneously striving for national development within the existing political landscape, he stated.

He stated that the party’s resistance is firmly established, boasting substantial numbers, strength, expertise, steadfast faith, courage, and the ability to stand resolutely against even the most formidable adversaries.

Hezbollah operates with a comprehensive organizational framework that spans various domains, including cultural, political, jihadist, social, educational, and medical sectors, according to Qassem. He emphasized the group’s deliberate construction to function efficiently, while acknowledging the concept of “Jihad” or struggle as part of its foundational ideology.

Sheikh Qassem concluded by affirming that Nasrallah has reinvigorated the movement in life and in death, emphasizing that his spirit and sacrifice continue to fortify the cause.
