Ahmadinejad sends message to UN meeting on Palestine

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a message to the UN General Assembly on Thursday, reiterated the best solution to the Palestinian issue is holding free elections with the participation of all Palestinians, including Muslims, Christians and Jews.

According to IRNA, Iranian Permanent Representative and Ambassador to the UN Mohammad Khazaee read President Ahmadinejad’s message at the UN General Assembly meeting which was held for voting on the upgrade of Palestinian status to observer member.
Part of the message reads, it is for than 60 years that the issue of Palestine as been the main concern of world’s free people. The brutal occupation of Palestinians and displacing them is not only tantamount to depriving the people of this land from their basic and legitimate rights, it is also considered as aggression against the noble human values and ignoring the wisdom, logic and common sense of all humans.
It added imposing five wars on the region’s nations and martyring and imprisoning tens of thousands of and displacing millions of people as well as the recent savage aggression of Zionist regime on Gaza is an evident sign of the mission and nature of the cultureless Zionists,.
Ahmadinejad’s message read “The destitute of the international community in resolving the Palestinian issue due to discriminatory and unilateral policies of some member-states of the UN Security Council has resulted in continuing the crisis and endangering the international peace and security.”
