Al-Azhar Ulema warn against Takfiri thought

A number of Ulema of Egypt’s Al-Azhar University have emphasized on opposition of Islam with any Takfiri thought, while adding that the Takfiri thought threatens the Islamic Ummah.

According to IRIB World Service, Head of the Islamic Research Center at Al-Azhar University, Mohammad Abdul-Aati, has warned against the dangers posed by the Takfiri thought.

Abdul-Aati emphasized on the opposition of the sacred religion of Islam against any Takfiri thought, while adding that spilling the blood of innocent individuals, detonation of explosives, and destruction of installations are criminal acts and are against the sacred religion of Islam.
