Sayyed Muqtada al Sadr warns Saudis

Top Iraqi cleric denounced Saudi aggressive measures against Yemen warning against spread of the offensive into other regional countries especially Iraq.

Sayyed Muqtada al Sadr, prominent Iraqi Shia cleric, expressed deep concerns over the current situation in Iraq and the Middle East region warning against spread of the third military operation of Yemen in Iraq and Middle East, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He also voiced his opposition with any cooperation with anti-DAESH international coalition and said,” Any intervention of the international body led by the US in Iraq is rejected and we will not have any cooperation in the military or other arenas.”

He expressed his gratitude for volunteer Iraq army for their efforts in the liberation of Tikrit.
