Iran possesses the capability to execute multiple operations akin to the ‘True Promise’ against ‘israel’

Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, has asserted that the nation possesses the capability to carry out multiple retaliatory operations akin to Operation True Promise. This operation, carried out in April, targeted areas under Israeli occupation within the Palestinian territories.

During a meeting of the Parliament’s Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy on Tuesday, Ebrahim Rezaei, the committee’s spokesman, cited an official stating that Iran’s defensive capabilities are robust.

In a forceful response to Israeli actions, the country launched over 300 missiles and drones targeting occupied territories. This military operation came as retaliation for a previous strike by the Israeli regime, which had hit Iranian diplomatic sites in Damascus earlier in the month.

In early October, the Islamic Republic initiated a missile offensive, deploying 200 projectiles targeting Israeli military and intelligence installations throughout the occupied territories. The attack was part of an operation dubbed True Promise II.

The second operation was launched in reaction to a series of deadly acts committed by the regime, targeting both the nation and other countries in the region. This includes the assassinations of high-profile figures such as Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Abbas Nilforoushan, a commander within the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) by Israel.

Rezaei has reported that Nasirzadeh claimed as many as 90 percent of the missiles launched during the True Promise II operation successfully struck their intended targets. However, there are allegations that authorities attempted to suppress information related to the operation.

In a recent statement, the defense minister discussed the regime’s offensive operations targeting defensive positions across Iran’s provinces, including Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, which occurred last week.

The assaults were unsuccessful in causing significant disruption to the nation’s missile and defense system manufacturing operations, he stated. He further noted that any damage resulting from the strikes has since been rectified.

The regime aimed to weaken the offensive and defensive capabilities of the Islamic Republic through its strikes but was ultimately unsuccessful in achieving its objectives, according to statements attributed to Nasirzadeh.

Rezaei noted that during a session on Tuesday, several lawmakers expressed their disapproval of the Jordanian and Iraqi governments for permitting their airspace to be utilized by the Israeli regime in carrying out its attacks.

Lawmakers have called for the implementation of proactive and decisive measures against the regime, aimed at dismantling its hostile intentions. They underscored the importance of bolstering the Islamic Republic’s defense systems and adopting an asymmetric warfare strategy to effectively address current threats.

No Hostile Aircraft Incursion Reported During Israeli Offensive

During a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Nasirzadeh emphatically denied allegations that enemy aircraft had violated the nation’s airspace amidst the Israeli offensive.

He further dismissed Tel Aviv’s claims that it had “eliminated” the Islamic Republic’s air defense capabilities following the recent offensive.

Enemy forces attempted to compromise our offensive and defensive systems; however, their efforts met with limited success due to the preemptive implementation of our passive defense strategies.

In a recent statement, Nasirzadeh affirmed that Iran would not tolerate any acts of aggression by Israel, emphasizing that any such incursion would be met with firm resistance.

The official stated, “It is unacceptable for a regime without any true identity, such as the Zionist regime, to commit an act of aggression against a nation with a rich and ancient history.” He further emphasized that the Islamic Republic would deliver an appropriate response to the regime at a time and place of its choosing.
