The Proud of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Islamic Iran successfully test-fires Nour missile

Iran has successfully test-fired state of the art surface-to-surface missile, Nour (Light), on the last day of military drills near the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

The missile was launched on Monday afternoon during the massive 10-day Velayat 90 military maneuvers.

Iran’s Navy officials said that the upgraded anti-radar missile successfully hit and destroyed its intended target.

The older model of the Nour missile was test-fired from the domestically-manufactured destroyer, Jamaran, off the southern shores of the Persian Gulf in March 2010.

Earlier on Monday, long-range coast-to-sea missile, Qader, was test-fired by ran’s Naval Forces. The Qader missile has a range of 200 kilometers.

Iran’s Navy test-fired a number of medium-range and long-range missiles in the final stage of the naval drills.

On December 24, Iran’s Navy launched the massive 10-day exercise, covering an area stretching from the east of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden.
