Army: Armed Forces Ready to Repel Any Aggression against Islamic Republic of Iran

The Iranian Army in a statement reiterated the Armed Forces’ unity and preparedness to confront any aggression or military invasion by enemies of Iran against the country.

The Iranian Army said on Thursday that it is fully cooperating with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) to deliver a crushing response to any potential threat against the country.

The Iranian Army said in its statement it is at the peak of its readiness thanks to its indigenous capabilities.

The statement said the unison between the Army and the IRGC has sustained and safeguarded the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and thwarted the sanctions and an array of complex threats against the Islamic Republic.

The daily progress of the IRGC in various scientific sectors has brought about the self-reliance and self-sufficiency of the Islamic Republic, particularly in the defense industries, the Army’s statement further read.

Iranian officials and commanders have warned that any enemy move, even the slightest aggressions, against the Islamic Republic would be reciprocated with a destructive response and will endanger the US interests all around the world.

Israel and its close ally the United States accuse Iran of seeking a nuclear weapon, while they have never presented any corroborative document to substantiate their allegations. Both Washington and Tel Aviv possess advanced weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear warheads.

Iran vehemently denies the charges, insisting that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only. Tehran stresses that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.

Both Zionist Israel and the Great Satan US have recently intensified rhetoric against Iran, saying an attack on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear site is impending.

Iran has, in return, warned that it would target Israel and its worldwide interests in case it comes under attack by the Tel Aviv.

Iran has also warned that it could close the strategic Strait of Hormuz if it became the target of a military attack over its nuclear program.

Strait of Hormuz, the entrance to the strategic Persian Gulf waterway, is a major oil shipping route.
