Gaza massacre won’t break Palestine will: Hamas

372087_Sami Abu ZuhriPalestinian resistance movement Hamas has strongly condemned the latest Israeli attack in the besieged Gaza Strip, saying the massacre will not break the will of Palestinians.

On Sunday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri reacted to the deadly attack on the Shejaiya district, saying the massacre will not break the Palestinian nation’s will.

“Israel will pay a heavy price for killing dozens of Palestinian children and women,” adding, “The Zionist regime has failed to achieve any of its goals or targets.”
The attack on the Shejaiya district appears to be the heaviest since Israel launched its offensive on July 8.

At least 50 people lost their lives and dozens more injured in Israel’s heavy shelling of Gaza’s eastern district on early hours of Sunday.

Medics say the overall Palestinian death toll has now soared to at least 410.

This is while many officials from various countries have slammed Israel’s latest massacre of civilians in the besieged region.

The Grand Sheikh of Egypt’s al-Azhar says the Israeli ground invasion in the Gaza Strip is a crime against humanity.

Ahmed al-Tayeb called for an immediate stop to the attacks, condemning the killing of children, the demolishing of homes and the displacement of families. He also said Israel’s ground assaults against the Palestinians violate international law.

Anti-Israeli rallies are being held worldwide in condemnation of Tel Aviv’s ongoing atrocities against Palestinians, urging an immediate end to bloodshed in Gaza.

Thousands of Australians have rallied in solidarity with Gazans, calling on the government to slam Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Also in the Chilean capital Santiago, people joined a mass rally against Israel’s aggression on Gaza. Earlier, similar protests took place in the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Ankara.
