Ayatollah Jannati: Foes of Islam, Zionists afraid of Int’l Qods Day

The Chairman of the Islamic Propagation Coordination Council, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, has pointed out that the enemies of the sacred religion of Islam and Zionists are scared of International Qods Day.

According to IRIB World Service, Ayatollah Jannati made these remarks in Tehran on Wednesday, while also pinpointing that the International Qods Day isn’t just a topic of importance related to Palestine and is in fact of significant importance for the World of Islam.

In further remarks, he said that we should take into consideration the remarks of the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace) as a guideline for us and the international community, while adding that in the view of late Imam, the International Qods Day doesn’t just focus on the Palestinian lands and massacre of Palestinians. In the view of late Imam, throughout the International Qods Day, the global powers should be made to realize that they cannot dominate Islamic countries by waging sectarian strife.

Ayatollah Jannati also put emphasis on the moves of Takfiri groups, the terrorist outfit, dubbed ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL), and Wahhabis, and their bonds with the spurious Zionist regime.
