Ayatollah Sistani Hails Sacrifices of Iraqi Forces

Official representative of Iraq’s top Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani hailed sacrifices of Iraqi security forces and Popular Mobilization forces known as “Hashd Shaabi”.

In a phone call with Hashd Shaabi commander, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai said the Hashd heroes proved their allegiance to Imam Hussein (a.s.) through their sacrifices in the battlefields against Takfiri terrorists, Hashd Shaabi media office reported.

“Sacrifices offered by these fighters have liberated many areas which was held by terrorists,” Sheikh Karbalai told Hashd Shaabi commander Ali al-Hamadani.
