Bahar: The armed resistance is the only strategy to restore the usurped rights

Ahmed Bahar, the first deputy speaker of the Palestinian legislative council, highlighted the right of the Palestinian people to armed resistance against the Israeli occupation as the only strategic option to restore the land and the usurped rights.

Bahar made his remarks during his meeting on Monday with a Saudi delegation visiting Gaza as part of the Miles of Smiles aid convoy.

Bahar stated that the peace negotiations with the Israeli occupation regime achieved nothing but more concessions.

The lawmaker hailed the Saudi activists for their efforts to help Gaza people, asserting that such nonstop aid convoys boost the steadfastness of the Gazans in the face of the occupation.

“Your generous visit coincided with the Isra and Miraj anniversary, which strengthens our feeling about our imminent return to our land and the liberation of our Jerusalem,” he said.

Bahar also put the delegation in the picture of the ongoing suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza as a result of the blockade and the daily Israeli violations against them as well as the atrocities that had been committed against them during the last two wars.
