Israeli forces have kidnapped at least six Palestinians in the occupied West Bank after raiding their homes as tensions continue in the occupied territories.

The Palestinians were kidnapped from the village of Nabi Saleh, located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank, early on Monday morning.

Israeli forces stormed Palestinians’ homes in the West Bank cities of Nablus, Qalqilya and al-Khalil (Hebron) overnight.

Clashes also erupted between Israeli forces and Palestinians on Monday after settlers stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds.

In another incident in al-Quds (Jerusalem), a 65-year-old Palestinian woman who was suffering from respiratory problems lost her life on Monday as her family was trying to take her from Isawiyya village to hospital. Israeli forces stopped them in a military checkpoint in the neighborhood, causing them to get to the hospital with so much delay. The woman was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.

There have been daily clashes in the Isawiyya village since October 3, when Israeli forces shot and killed a 19-year-old Palestinian. The regime’s forces have locked down the village by several roadblocks and checkpoints.

“We don’t feel free at all,” said Mousa Omar, a 20-year-old Palestinian from Isawiyya. “We don’t feel safe either. We can’t go anywhere and they ask us where we go and when we come back. They are putting more pressure on us.”

Also on Sunday, Israeli forces set up a tall concrete wall at a small area of the East Talpiot (Armon HaNetziv) neighborhood in al-Quds. Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri said that the wall would remain “for as long as needed” and that it could be lengthened based on security needs.

The latest wave of Israeli-Palestinian clashes began when Tel Aviv on August 26 restricted the entry of some Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinians are also angry at increasing violence by Israeli settlers.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli troops have killed at least 45 people since October 1. Eight Israelis have also been killed by Palestinians.
