Brave Yemen Launches Hypersonic Missile Strike on ‘israeli’ Airbase Following US Airstrike

Yemen's Armed Forces spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, has declared that a missile strike was carried out against an Israeli airbase. This action was described as a countermeasure in response to what is termed as the regime's genocidal conflict in Gaza.

On Friday, Yahya Saree announced that Yemeni forces had conducted a military operation against Israel’s Ramat David Airbase, situated to the east of the occupied Haifa region, utilizing a ‘Palestine-2’ hypersonic ballistic missile.

“The statement confirmed that the missile hit its intended target successfully, and noted that interceptor systems were unable to thwart it.”

The statement indicated that the assault occurred as an act of support for the Palestinian people, who are considered to be oppressed, in opposition to the US-supported Israeli military operations in Gaza.

Saree affirmed that the countermeasures would persist until the cessation of the Israeli conflict and the removal of the blockade on Gaza.

The announcement followed a report from the Israeli military indicating the detection of a ballistic missile launch originating from Yemen. However, the military did not confirm any interception of the missile.

The military of the regime reported that missile defense systems have been activated in response to the perceived threat.

In the early hours of Friday, sirens blared throughout extensive areas of the northern occupied territories, encompassing the city of Haifa.

Reports from Israeli media indicate that an Israeli individual sustained injuries while seeking shelter following the activation of air raid sirens. It was further noted that missile fragments were discovered in the vicinity of the Gadish settlement. The reports also highlighted a failure in the missile defense systems to intercept the projectile.

According to reports from both Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth and Yemen’s al-Masirah, several flights at Ben Gurion International Airport were halted following an attack, impacting both arrivals and departures.

In a swift response to a recent US strike targeting pro-Gaza activities in Yemen, an attack occurred in the country, resulting in injuries to three individuals.

In response to the conflict in Gaza, Yemeni forces have conducted numerous operations in solidarity with the affected Gazan population. These operations have involved striking various targets across the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as targeting Israeli ships or vessels approaching ports within these areas.

In a show of solidarity with Israel, the United States declared the establishment of a maritime task force in the Red Sea, slated for December 2023. The initiative aims to secure the transit of vessels heading towards the Israeli-occupied territories.

Yemeni forces escalated their attacks, targeting key Israeli and American assets, specifically US warships and aircraft carriers stationed near Yemen’s coast.
