Breaking: Syrian Army attempts first advance in northwest Hama

Fierce clashes broke out last evening in northwestern Hama after the Syrian Arab Army attempted to advance at the Qal’at Al-Madiq axis.

According to a military source in the town of Mhardeh, the Syrian Arab Army attempted to bypass the militant positions and score an advance at this front near the Idlib Governorate axis.

No advance has been reported as of yet; however, a source told that this is likely just a preliminary offensive to test the defenses of the terrorist forces.
