Breaking: Syrian Army enters Tabaqa city and several towns in Al-Raqqa

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has entered the city of Al-Tabaqa this morning after securing an agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

According to a report from northern Syria this morning, the Syrian Arab Army troops that were deployed in southern Al-Raqqa were given the green light to enter Al-Tabaqa after the Syrian Democratic Forces withdrew from the city.

Furthermore, the Syrian Arab Army has also taken control of the Tabaqa Airport, which is located just south of the city.

In addition to taking control of Al-Tabaqa, the Syrian Army has also entered several towns in the Al-Raqqa Governorate, including Al-Mansoura.

The Syrian Army will also enter a number of other towns in northern Syria in the coming hours as they complete the agreement they made with the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Turkish-backed militants along the border have responded to this agreement by vowing to continue their operation to capture all of these areas that the Syrian Arab Army has entered.
