Iran to launch its first manned mission to space

IRI’s Vice-President for Science and Technology, Nasrin Soltankhah said Iran is on the right track in its plan to launch its first manned mission to space.

She said that the initial steps for the plan have been taken, and the plan has been submitted to the Supreme Council on Space.

She added that the next steps of the plan will be accelerated once the supervising body approves the programs.

Soltankhah noted that the country will launch its first manned mission to space within ten years.
