During a solidarity sit-in organized by Awqaf Ministry in Gaza, Bahr said that resistance is the sole and effective option to address the Israeli continued and escalated crimes.

He said that talks’ resumption between Israeli and Palestinian authorities provide a cover to the Israeli crimes and violations against the Palestinian people and a green light to the Israeli settlement and Judaization plans.

For his part, the Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Dr. Ismail Radwan stressed that the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem can only be through resistance, calling on Palestinian resistance elements to put an end to the Israeli continuous aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people.

The Awqaf ministry pointed out to the Israeli escalated Judaization schemes in al-Aqsa mosque in an attempt to divide it between Muslim and Jewish worshipers, saying that this plan would ignite a religious war in the region.

For his part, head of the PLC Jerusalem Committee MP Ahmed Abu Halabiya, called on Palestinian national and Islamic factions and forces to work to end the internal division, and to activate resistance particularly armed resistance.

Meanwhile, the Factional Coordination Committee has organized in Nablus a march in support of al-Aqsa mosque on Wednesday.

During the march, the participants called on PA to stop negotiation with the occupier as a response to the Israeli attack on al-Aqsa mosque, stressing that al-Aqsa is one of the Palestinian constants.
