British oil tanker targeted by Yemen’s missiles and drones in the Red Sea

Yemeni authorities report that their armed forces launched cruise and ballistic missiles at a British oil vessel in the Red Sea as part of a coordinated series of military operations on Tuesday.

The nation’s military announced that the oil tanker CORDELIA MOON suffered extensive damage following an assault involving “eight ballistic and cruise missiles, a drone, and a drone boat.”

A British maritime agency has officially verified the assault on the oil tanker, reporting that it was struck by a sea drone, resulting in a punctured ballast tank.

An additional maritime incident occurred in the Indian Ocean where the vessel MARATHOPOLIS, registered under the Maltese flag, was impacted by a cruise missile, according to reports from Yemeni authorities.

The third mission, according to the report, targeted the same vessel once more “for contravening the directive that bans entry into the ports of occupied Palestine.”

“A drone strike successfully impacted the vessel, causing direct damage.”

Yemen has announced that its military will persist with executing operations and enforcing a naval blockade against Israel.

“Operations will continue unabated until hostilities in Gaza cease, the blockade is lifted, and aggression towards Lebanon concludes.”

On Tuesday, Yemen executed dual operations targeting key locations within Israeli-occupied territories. According to Yemeni sources, their aerospace units launched an attack on a critical site near Tel Aviv with an indigenous, long-range Yafa kamikaze drone.
