A political commentator says the Israeli “apartheid regime” cannot withstand the pressure of the world public opinion and will soon collapse, Press TV reports.

Johnny Punish, writer and political commentator from Mexico, said in an interview with Press TV that the world public opinion is turning against Israel, which could deliver a heavy blow to the Tel Aviv regime.

“Israel wouldn’t survive. Israel will be crushed by waves of humanity,” the commentator said.

The analyst further stressed that the world is waking up to the reality that the racist Israeli regime has been committing crimes against the humanity.

The whole world is watching the intolerable Israeli criminal attitude toward million of Palestinians across the occupied Palestinian land, the analyst stated.

Commenting on the recent move by Palestinians to join the International Criminal Court (ICC), the analyst said that Israel has become increasingly furious and fearful of the move.

“They are retaliating against Palestine for asking for ICC membership, because they don’t want to be put under the microscope. They would like the status-quo to continue. The reality is it can’t continue,” he said.

The analyst noted that it was important for Palestine to join the ICC in order to prosecute Israel over its war crimes.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas recently signed the documents necessary for Palestine to join 20 international organizations, including the ICC.

Israel has launched three wars on Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip since 2008. During the latest military aggression against the Gaza Strip in summer, Tel Aviv used advanced weapons to kill over 2,000 Palestinians and destroy thousands of their homes.
