The Syrian Army made major advances in Quneitra and Idlib provinces on Sunday, killing and injuring a large number of foreign-backed militants.

The army soldiers targeted the hideouts of the rebels in Tal Mas’hara, Nabe’ al-Sakher, and Um Batina areas in the Southern province of Quneitra, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Also, members of al-Nura Terrorist Front suffered heavy losses in the town Ma’ardibsa, as the Syrian Army scored ground in the Northern province of Idlib.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
