The CIA is funding the ISIL terrorist group to “promote the Israeli agenda” and to complete the Project for the New American Century, the co-founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth says.
ISIL terrorists in Syria and Iraq are receiving military training by the Pentagon and collect millions of dollars every week from Washington, said James Henry Fetzer, who’s also an editor at Veterans Today and a retired professor in Madison, Wisconsin.
“The US is spending $200 million every week while supporting and attacking the threat,” Fetzer told Press TV on Saturday. “The CIA is funding ISIL.”
The retired professor said the US created ISIL and other terrorist groups in the Middle East region in order to justify attacking and dismantling governments that oppose Western domination.
“The actions of the United States are completely dishonorable and where we are acting to promote the Israeli agenda where ISIL itself is the creation of the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia in order to dismantle every Arab nation that serves as a counterbalance to its domination of the Middle East,” Fetzer noted.
ISIL militants have captured large swaths of territory in Iraq since June when they took Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city. The terror group is also in control of much of eastern Syria.
The US and several of its allies began striking ISIL targets in Syria on September 23. American jets have conducted hundreds of air raids on ISIL in Iraq since mid-August.
Retired General John Allen, who is tasked by President Barack Obama with building a coalition against ISIL, told reporters on Friday during a visit to Iraq that that the war against ISIL was in its early stages.
“What General Allen is observing about an ongoing war is the completion of the plan of the Project for the New American Century,” Fetzer said.
