Clashes in Jerusalem after arrest of three brothers

Inhabitants in the Old City of Al-Qods clashed with Israeli occupation forces after they arrested three brothers in Bab Hitta suburb on Friday evening.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that eight citizens were injured with rubber-coated bullets while many others were treated for gas suffocation in similar clashes in Issawiye village.

Other clashes were reported in Ras Al-Amud suburb to the north of Jerusalem as some were hit with rubber bullets. Dozens were treated for breathing difficulty in three suburbs in Silwan town in similar clashes.

Tension is prevailing in the holy city and security is tightened after two rockets, fired by Hamas’s armed wing from Gaza, fell near it.
