Iran to develop jet engine drone

Mehr News quoted Hossein Dehghan speaking to the press in the sidelines of Iran’s Seventh Scientific Command and Control Conference at Imam Hossein (as) University.

Asked how the Kavoshgar (explorer) would be launched to space, Dehghan told that they had planned two types of launches, one being live creature launching to the space and returning it back, which would be in the future.

Asked when the Fateh submarine would be finally built, he told that the designing of Fateh’s semi-heavy submarine prototype had been completed and would be delivered to Army Naval forces.

Asked about developing drones carrying jet engines, Dehghan told that “the majority of engines are piston engines, and we are seeking to mount a jet engine on a drone.”

About manufacturing Tadbir (prudence) satellite, he told that the satellite had been developed by Iran’s University of Science and Technology and would be launched into space in near future.
