Exclusive: Footage of Syrian town of Qara after freedom of Terrorists

Syria’s army forces have managed to shut down a main smuggling road for terrorists fighting in the country, recapturing the border town of Qara, located near the strategic area of al-Qalamoun.
The foreign-backed militants were using Qara to smuggle weapons and dispatch terrorists, al-Alam reporter Hussein Mortaza, accompanying Syrian armed forces during the mop-up operation, said on Wednesday.
The town stretches to the mountainous al-Qalamoun area from one side and reaches to an international highway between Damascus and Homs.
The military forces turned around the mountainous area to infiltrate into the town from different points including al-Humaira neighborhood in Rif Dimashq, Mortaza reported.
An army commander told al-Alam that the armed forces have regained the full control of the town and the militants fled the area.
Syrian army has been making considerable achievements in its operations near the capital Damascus, while the troops have also been able to recapture two towns and a military base around the northern city of Aleppo, which is a main stronghold for the Saudi-backed militants.
Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating inside the country.
