Kerry’s toeing of Israeli line, censured by US political expert

John Gershman, the Professor of General Politics at New York University and the head of Political Studies Center referred to the recent statement of support for Israel by US Secretary of State, John Kerry, and said: this is not a surprising move and shows the classic nature of the US’ relations with the Zionist entity which compels American officials to support this regime.

In an interview with IRIB World Service’s English Radio, Gersham added that Iran’s agreement with the 5+1 group was hailed by not only the American people but many other countries. Yet, it is obvious that in any country there are extremist currents whose views are different from the public’s political current, undue objections are bound to be raised.
He referred to the upcoming congressional election and added: “the Republicans usually follow hard-line strategies compared to Democrats but it doesn’t mean that the latter is not under the control of Zionist lobbies.”
The prominent professor went on to say that Eric Cantor, the Republican member of Senate who is also a Jewish, completely treads the footsteps of the Zionist regime, and wants the US government to consult Israel for all measures and policies, before implementing any agreement.
