Detained ship by Yemen not Iranian

An informed diplomat in the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Yemen has denied a Yemeni officer’s claim on detention of an Iranian ship near Al-Salif port city in the Red Sea.
The diplomat admitted the very news of the detention of a ship, but he denied that the ship belonged to Iran and believed as being media propaganda.
According to the report, Asharq Alawsat, a London-based daily, announced that a Yemeni government official had said the sea border security forces of the country had arrested an Iranian ship near Port Al-Salif in the Red Sea.
The newspaper also quoted Yemeni officials as claiming that the ship carried weapons, and that 16 Syrian and 2 Somalian citizens had been detained in the ship.
Islamic Republic of Iran Army had previously denied the detention of an Iranian ship. Deputy Commander of IRI Army Naval Forces has denied the news and said “I think most of the news is a political game.”
