The Syrian army forces repelled the terrorists’ attacks on army checkpoints in Tal Malah, al-Shaliout and al-Jabin in Hama, killing and wounding tens of militants.

A military source said on Thursday that the army forces could resist against the terrorists’ offensives, and inflicted over 20 casualties on the militants.

“At least 40 more terrorists were wounded in the clashes,” he added.

Concurrent with the attacks, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets pounded the terrorists’ positions in al-Latamenah, al-Zakat and al-Zalaqiyat, destroying their weapons, vehicles and military equipment, the source added.

On Wednesday, the Syrian armed forces repelled terrorists’ attacks on government positions in Southern Hama, forcing the militants to retreat from the battlefield under heavy fire.

The terrorist groups attacked the government forces’ positions in the Western side of al-Salamiyah from their positions at al-Satahiyat, but failed to prevail over the army’s defense lines due to their strong defense.

Syrian army and popular forces who repelled the terrorists’ attacks with the back up of Syrian firth jets, carried out a rapid counter-attack with the help of fresh military forces and pushed the militant back in the Western side of al-Salamiyah, and the road connecting al-Satahiyat to al-Mazira’ah.

On Tuesday, Syrian and Russian warplanes launched massive joint strikes on a key hideout of militants in the mountainous regions of Northern Hama, inflicting major loss and casualties on the terrorists.

The Syrian and Russian fighter jets, tipped off by intelligence agents, targeted a large cave used by the terrorists for hiding arms, ammunition, military and medical equipment and troops near Kafr Zita.

Most of the military and medical equipment in the cave was destroyed in the raids.

Scores of militants guarding the cave were killed or wounded in the airstrikes.

The terrorist groups, in their media pages, confirmed that a large volume of medical and military equipment has been destroyed in the air assaults.
