Iran Issues Stern Warning Over ‘Politically-Motivated’ IAEA Report Abuses
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs has dismissed a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as politically driven, concerning the country's peaceful nuclear activities. He cautioned that Iran is prepared to respond suitably should certain nations continue to "abuse its patience."

Kazem Gharibabadi commented on Sunday in response to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s confidential report to member states, which alleged that Iran has not disclosed nuclear activities at three undisclosed sites. The report also expressed concerns regarding the nation’s accumulation of uranium enriched up to 60% purity.
According to his statement, the report relies on “an assortment of fabricated information supplied by the Zionist regime,” tracing its origins to over two decades past.
He further stated that all allegations concerning Iran’s previous nuclear activities were concluded under United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231, which officially endorsed the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement, also referred to as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Gharibabadi remarked that the latest report from the UN’s nuclear watchdog revisits “unsubstantiated issues” aimed at “new political exploitation against Iran.”
Iran asserts that it is neither seeking nuclear weapons nor holding any undeclared nuclear materials or engaging in illicit activities. The nation has steadfastly adhered to all its commitments. The sacrifices endured by Iran are for the preservation of its dignity, honor, advancement, and resilience against coercion and the hegemonic ambitions of certain global powers, according to a recent statement.
Iran has signaled a warning to specific states, asserting that should they continue to test its patience and persist on their misguided course, it will be forced to respond accordingly. Iran emphasized that any necessary measures it takes will be in direct relation to the actions of these states, with the full responsibility and resulting consequences falling upon them.
The deputy foreign minister stressed that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has become a tool of pressure against the Islamic Republic due to political influence exerted by certain countries.
He emphasized that raising concerns about Iran’s nuclear activities serves as a pretext to manufacture an artificial sense of alarm, especially in a region where the nuclear-armed Zionist regime remains exempt from all treaties related to weapons of mass destruction disarmament.
“As long as a nation’s nuclear endeavors remain under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), there is no reason for alarm.”
The International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) report is anticipated to potentially form the groundwork for a resolution opposing Iran at the upcoming Board of Governors meeting in Vienna, scheduled for June 9-13.
On Saturday, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, engaged in discussions with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, calling on him to “reflect the realities.”
He further cautioned that Tehran is prepared to “respond appropriately to any inappropriate actions taken by European parties.”
In a joint statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) have accused Rafael Grossi of reiterating past “biased and unfounded accusations” against Iran. They assert that these claims are heavily based on “fabricated documents” allegedly supplied by Israel.
