Missiles part of Iran’s policy to stabilize Mideast

A journalist dismisses French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian’s remarks against Iran’s missile program, underlying that Iranian missiles are only for stability and defense.

The missile activity “is part of Iran’s policy of trying to stabilize the Middle East” and “there is no grounds for what the French foreign minister said,” Eric Walberg, author and journalist, told Press TV on Saturday.

The Islamic Republic is not creating any problem for the Middle East, but “they (Western powers) don’t want Iran to have missiles to defend itself, that is ridiculous,” Walberg noted.

The United States, Britain and Israel are bombing Syria and “they’re the ones who are causing instability,” he said.
