Europeans were deceived by US over Ukraine

The senior official of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces, Major General Hassan Firouzabadi, has said that the Europeans were deceived by the US officials in regard to Ukraine.

According to IRIB World Service, in reaction to the current developments in Ukraine and US and Europe’s efforts to impose new sanctions against Russia, Major General Firouzabadi said in Tehran on Friday that the Europeans were deceived by the US administration in regard to the issue of Ukraine and the economic crisis.
This senior Iranian Armed Forces official pointed out that the main losers of the US and European sanctions on Russia are the Europeans.
On developments in Egypt, Major General Firouzabadi said Egyptian Muslims, whose revolutionary record of conduct has been a role model for Arab countries, have unfortunately been attacked by their enemies.
