Gaza Casualties Escalate Amid Intensified Zionist ‘israeli’ Bombardment

Israeli military operations persist in Gaza, resuming 73 days ago and continuing from events that began 601 days ago. This escalation follows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s withdrawal from a ceasefire agreement, with support from the U.S., amid a notable lack of response from the international community and Arab governments.

According to Palestinian sources, airstrikes in Gaza since early Friday have resulted in the deaths of at least 70 Palestinian civilians.

Several neighborhoods were subjected to intense shelling as Israeli forces launched attacks on the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. In the aftermath, three fatalities were reported at the Baptist Hospital after strikes hit Nakhil Street in the Tuffah neighborhood. Meanwhile, three more bodies were discovered near the Shaaban al-Rayyes School in the same vicinity.

Additional casualties were reported following Israeli military actions near the Saftawi Junction, north of Gaza City, where civilians were affected by bombings. Artillery shelling impacted the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, while drone strikes were carried out in Qizan Rashwan, south of Khan Yunis. The southern town of Al-Fakhari was also targeted, with two additional raids unfolding near the supply center in the Tuffah neighborhood.

An Israeli airstrike targeted the Abu al-Kass family residence in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the fatalities of Sobhi Shafiq Abu al-Kass, his spouse, their two sons, their daughters-in-law, and their grandchildren. The strike has eliminated the entire family.

In central Gaza, Israeli drones launched strikes near the Al-Da’wa entrance north of Nuseirat, resulting in multiple injuries among civilians. In a separate incident, artillery shells struck areas east of Deir al-Balah. Concurrently, Al-Awda Hospital in Tel al-Zaatar reported an urgent demand from Israeli forces for the evacuation of the facility. The hospital currently accommodates 97 individuals, comprising 13 patients and 84 medical staff. Officials from the hospital mentioned hearing explosions and gunfire in the vicinity, interpreting these actions as forms of intimidation.

Gaza’s Ministry of Interior and National Security reported that Israeli aircraft targeted police officers at Saraya Junction in central Gaza City during a confrontation with thieves, leading to multiple casualties among officers and civilians. Palestinian sources confirmed that at least six individuals lost their lives in the incident.
