VIDEO OF VICTORS: Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Ayatollah Khamenei hosts high-level Hamas delegation
Imam Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, conveyed to a Hamas delegation that the Palestinian resistance achieved a significant victory against Israel and the United States in the conflict over Gaza. He highlighted their "great achievement" in securing a ceasefire.

In a significant diplomatic engagement, Ayatollah Khamenei welcomed Muhammad Ismail Darwish, the chairman of the Hamas Shura Council, along with acting leader Khalil al-Hayya and other senior political figures from the group, to Tehran on Saturday.
In a statement addressing attendees, the speaker invoked divine intervention, expressing that both the people of Gaza and their triumph were gifts from God Almighty. He referenced a revered verse, highlighting Gaza as an exemplary instance where a smaller group has prevailed over a larger one by the will of God.
“The Leader praised the efforts of the forces, stating that they successfully resisted the objectives of the Zionist regime and, by extension, those of the United States, ensuring that none of their aims were realized, thanks to divine assistance.”
In a recent address, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the hardships endured by the people of Gaza during 18 months of conflict with Israel, expressing that the eventual outcome would be “the triumph of justice over injustice.”
“He stated that the residents of Gaza have become a symbol of resilience for those who hold resistance close to their hearts.”
Ayatollah Khamenei commended Hamas negotiators, describing the agreement compelling Israel to cease its aggressive actions in Gaza and to free thousands of Palestinian detainees as a “significant accomplishment.”
In the initial 42-day phase of the ceasefire agreement, plans are in place for the release of 33 Israeli hostages and approximately 2,000 Palestinian detainees.
The agreement remains intact, but U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to evacuate the population of Gaza and assume control of the territory is causing significant disruptions, as it faces widespread condemnation from the international community.
Ayatollah Khamenei has urged Palestinian resistance groups to maintain their position, emphasizing the importance of implementing strategies for cultural initiatives and persisting with current public relations efforts alongside military operations and the reconstruction of Gaza.
The Leader characterized faith as the primary “asymmetric weapon” wielded by the resistance front in its opposition to adversaries. He emphasized that this unwavering faith is the reason why both the Islamic Republic and the resistance front remain resilient and undaunted in the face of their enemies.
Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the recent threats from the United States towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, asserting that such intimidation holds no sway over the mindset of the Iranian populace, including its government officials, national figures, and younger generation.
Iran, having launched missile and drone attacks against Israel on two separate occasions amid the ongoing Gaza conflict, is facing increased sanctions and heightened threats of military action from both the United States and Israel, a trend that has intensified since the tenure of former President Donald Trump.
On Thursday, the United States implemented its inaugural set of sanctions against Iran following the revival of President Trump’s “maximum pressure” strategy targeting the Islamic Republic.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has asserted that the Iranian populace remains unequivocal in its commitment to defending Palestine and backing the Palestinian cause, describing the issue as a settled matter.
The leader emphasized that Palestine remains a significant concern, affirming that the success of the Palestinian cause is of utmost importance.
He emphasized that ultimate victory is destined for the Palestinian people, asserting that temporary challenges should not sow doubt. Instead, he urged a continued forward march, bolstered by faith and the hope for divine intervention.
In a statement directed towards Hamas leadership, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed confidence in a future resolution to the al-Quds issue, proclaiming, “With divine blessing, the day will arrive when you will triumphantly resolve the matter for the Islamic world. That day is certain to come.”
A delegation, featuring senior Hamas leader Nizar Awadallah, delivered a report to Ayatollah Khamenei detailing the prevailing conditions in Gaza and the West Bank, along with an account of the recent “victories and successes” attained in the region.
During a meeting with the dignitary, Hayya expressed pride in the occasion, asserting that the recent triumph is a shared success for both the attendees and the Islamic Republic.
The Shura Council, serving as the principal advisory entity for Hamas, holds the responsibility of electing the organization’s politburo. Darwish, accompanied by his delegation, has embarked on a regional tour that includes recent visits to Egypt and Turkey, with their latest stop being Tehran.
