French parliament extends state of emergency

Following the tragedy in Nice, France’s politicians have immediately moved to extend the nationwide state of emergency. There’s still no evidence that organized terror groups played a part in the bloody attack, but France is nonetheless ready to continue emergency measures for another six months.
