REUTERS0GAZ47_PALESTINIANS-HAMAS-_1208_11570235_waThe Palestinian Government denounced in a statement on Tuesday any foreign military intervention in any Arab or Islamic country referring to any possible foreign military strike in Syria.

The government stressed the peoples’ right to live in freedom and democracy.

On the other hand, the Gaza government called on Palestinians to flock to al-Aqsa mosque on Wednesday and to protect it from the Israeli planned attacks against the holy site.

The government also called on the Arab and Islamic world to intervene immediately in light the Israeli scheme to Judaize Silwan, denouncing the Israeli arrest of Sheikh Raed Salah on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the government denounced Abbas’s statements that aim at distorting the besieged Gaza Strip.

Such statements, that exploit the systematic media incitement against the strip, have negative impacts on the reconciliation efforts, the government’s statement said.

The government called on Egyptian Authorities to fully reopen Rafah crossing in order to ease the sufferings of 10,000 Palestinian passengers stranded on both sides of the boarder.

The Palestinian government in the besieged strip also condemned opening fire against Palestinian fishermen close to the Egyptian waters, where two Palestinians were injured and five other were detained.

The government refuted the allegations of Egyptian Interior Minister in which he accused Hamas of playing part in Sinai events, stressing that the Palestinian Government has no interest in intervening in Egyptian affairs as it seeks the best for Egypt.
