Clashes in Jerusalem after man injured

Zionist occupation forces captured, on Saturday 29/05/2010, the young Jerusalemite “Wael Toubasi” after shooting him seriously in the center of old city of Jerusalem.

Witnesses said that violent confrontations erupted amid a market inside the Old City after the Zionist soldiers had attacked the young – mentally ill – and shot him directly.

The witnesses denied the Zionist claims that the young man tried to steal a weapon from one of the female soldiers, stressing that the incident was only deliberate.

The witnesses pointed out that a large force of Zionist soldiers rushed to the place, and clashes erupted between the residents of Jerusalem and the soldiers who used stun grenades and tear gas, leading to suffocations.
