Great Satan US will continue global drone strikes

ebd23a269bce02091f72b445038998a4_LMiddle East expert William Beeman says the United States will continue its drone strikes despite civilian casualties.

The professor of anthropology at The University of Minnesota said in a phone interview with Press TV’s US Desk on Monday: “The drone strikes in the United States are highly controversial and the difficulty is that the US public doesn’t always understand that they’re taking place on such a regular basis.”
He added: “When they are revealed, we get a lot of protests among US citizens against them, but as you point out they are secret and the operations are secret.”
He made the remarks after the recent US drone attacks left several people dead in Pakistan and Yemen.
In a statement on Monday, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry condemned the deadly US assassination drone strike in North Waziristan.
It said: “These unilateral strikes are a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry statement “The government of Pakistan has consistently maintained that drone strikes are counter-productive, entail loss of innocent civilian lives and have human rights and humanitarian implications.”
