Hamas Commends Crucial Contribution of Martyred Iranian Commanders to Palestinian Cause
The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement has denounced the assassination of several prominent Iranian commanders in recent Israeli actions against the Islamic Republic. They underscored that the slain military leaders consistently supported Palestinians in confronting the alleged crimes of the Zionist regime.
On Monday, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military division of Hamas, issued a statement honoring Major General Mohammad Baqeri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Hossein Salami, the Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters.
The Gaza-based faction emphasized the significant and historic contributions of the deceased commanders in championing the Palestinian cause, highlighting their sacrifices as emblematic of decades-long dedication amidst the Israeli occupation.
The statement emphasized that time will unveil the extent of their critical contributions, which act as a pressure point in the Palestinians’ conflict against the Zionist adversary, edging them closer to an ultimate triumph over what is described as Israel’s illegitimate regime.
The Qassam Brigades have lauded Iran for its extensive and impactful attacks on military installations and strategic sites located within the Israeli-occupied territories, actions that are part of Operation True Promise III.
The report emphasized that the “heroic” counterattacks significantly unsettled the core of the Tel Aviv regime, shattering any misconceptions and demonstrating that its deceptive aggressive actions cannot break the resolve of those who cherish freedom.
The operations bolstered the resolve and strength of resistance forces, enhancing their capacity to impose significant losses on the Zionist regime, the report indicated.
The Qassam Brigades have reiterated their unwavering support for Iran and its leadership, expressing optimism for a decisive victory over Israel and the complete liberation of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
