Hamas denies willingness to negotiate with the occupation

Izzat Al-Risheq, member of Hamas’s political bureau, denied statements attributed to Khaled Meshaal concerning the movement’s willingness to negotiate with the occupation.

Al Masry Al Youm Egyptian newspaper claimed that Meshaal expressed, during an interview with Foreign Policy American magazine, Hamas’s willingness to negotiate with the Israeli occupation.

Al-Risheq confirmed that the American newspaper report does not include such fabrications.

Al Masry Al Youm has alleged that Meshaal declared Hamas’s readiness to conduct negotiations with Israel despite its uselessness.
