Hamas denounced Israeli acts of aggression in Yemen

The Hamas Movement has denounced recent Israeli actions in Yemen, characterizing them as a "Zionist terrorist attack" and labeling it a significant escalation that extends Israel's aggressive policies towards Palestine and the broader Arab region.

The Hamas Movement has issued a statement condemning Israeli military actions in Yemen, describing the operation as a “Zionist terrorist attack” and labeling it a “dangerous escalation” that continues its pattern of aggression in Palestine and across the Arab region.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Movement vehemently denounced what it described as “the brutal Zionist aggression on Yemen.” The attacks reportedly focused on both civilian and public infrastructure in the capital city of Sana’a, as well as the port city of Hodeidah, located in western Yemen. The Movement labeled this as “a dangerous escalation” that extends ongoing hostilities against “our Palestinian people, Syria, and the broader Arab region.”

The Movement emphasized that the “hostile adversary will not succeed in weakening the spirit of our citizens or those in the region, nor will it deter the Yemeni population from maintaining their steadfast support for the Palestinian people until the conclusion of the Zionist hostilities in Gaza.”

Hamas has publicly expressed its condolences for the victims among the Yemeni populace who perished in the Israeli airstrikes on Yemen. The organization reaffirmed its unequivocal support for Yemen and the Ansar Allah group, denouncing the US and UK-backed military actions against them.

The Movement has urged the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to formally denounce the ongoing hostilities in Yemen. Furthermore, it calls for decisive actions and resolutions to check Zionist actions and territorial intrusions within the Arab region, with an emphasis on compelling an end to the aggressive military campaign and existential threat posed against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip.
