Hamas Mourns Martyr Luay Nasrallah, Condemns Zionist Regime’s Actions as Brutal

The Hamas Movement has expressed mourning for 22-year-old prisoner Luay Nasrallah from Jenin City. Nasrallah was declared dead on Monday morning after being moved in critical condition from Negev jail to Israel’s Soroka Hospital.

In a statement issued on Monday, Hamas denounced the circumstances surrounding Nasrallah’s death, asserting it underscores the ongoing harshness of Israeli occupation against Palestinian detainees. The statement accuses Israeli authorities of employing long-term detrimental practices, such as denying medical treatment and inflicting continuous psychological and physical abuse.

Hamas has characterized the conditions within Israeli prisons as “catastrophic,” emphasizing that Palestinian inmates are subjected to severe violations and systematic mistreatment by Israeli prison authorities.

Hamas has issued a call for immediate action to exert pressure on the Israeli occupation to halt its alleged violations against Palestinian prisoners. The organization emphasized the necessity of taking significant steps to support and safeguard the detainees.
