Hamas: Operation Al-Aqsa Flood Advances Goals of Ending Occupation and Achieving Liberation

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced that their recent conflict with Israel, termed “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” has demonstrated the unified and victorious resistance of the Palestinian people.

Hamas announced that the ongoing conflict has “brought us closer to ending the occupation, achieving liberation, and ensuring the right of return, with God’s will.” The organization claimed that Israel “did not succeed in reaching its aggressive objectives and was only able to carry out what they describe as war crimes tarnishing the dignity of humanity.”

Hamas has claimed responsibility for forcing a ceasefire and the subsequent withdrawal of occupying forces, countering Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s alleged efforts to extend hostilities and escalate violence. In a statement, the organization pledged that the sacrifices made by their “martyrs” would be honored and assured that efforts would continue to bring the “enemy’s leaders and soldiers” to justice for alleged war crimes, regardless of the time involved.

“The occupation has fallen short of its strategic objectives and has instead been marked by the commission of war crimes that stand as a stark affront to human decency.”

In a forward-looking statement, Hamas underscored its primary agenda as the urgent cessation of the Israeli blockade on Gaza, aiming to bring relief to the Palestinian populace. The organization is also prioritizing the return of displaced individuals and the commencement of rebuilding efforts in the war-torn region. Hamas has announced that the humanitarian aid protocol, established with the assistance of mediators, guarantees the execution of relief, shelter, and reconstruction initiatives for the residents of Gaza.
