Haneyya: Israel’s Judaization plans in J’lem will be doomed

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has expressed his belief that the Israeli occupation’s Judaization plans in Jerusalem will never succeed.

“I am fully responsible for what I say — the plans to divide the Aqsa Mosque will fail, and we will never allow the occupation to implement its plots  and change the character of Jerusalem even if we sacrifice ourselves,” Haneyya said in remarks televised on Saturday by al-Aqsa satellite channel.

The Hamas official stressed the need for a wise and courageous national plan to confront the Israeli practices in “Jerusalem,” which he called the core of the conflict with the occupation.

“Despite all the challenges, we are heading towards victory,” he said, saluting all the Palestinians in Jerusalem for standing in the face of the Israeli occupation.
