Haneyya: Release of prisoners top priority of Resistance

Deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau, Ismail Haneyya, stressed that releasing prisoners from Israeli jails is the top priority for resistance.

During Friday prayers in front of the Red Cross headquarter in Gaza, Haneyya said that the issue of prisoners is not an issue in Gaza or in Palestine alone, but is the nation’s cause.

He also renewed his call on al-Qassam Brigades to free prisoners from Israeli jails.

The Hamas official hailed the armed wing of Hamas for their adherence to the national principles and constants, stressing that the issue of prisoners would remain a priority for the Movement.
