Photos- Zionist Nigerian Forces Used Hot water on peaceful Free Zakzaky protesters

The Nigerian Police force tried to stop free Zakzaky protest fin Abuja, the Nigerian capital today the 22nd of may 2017. The protesters, maily students, matched to the Headquarters of the National Human Right Commission (NHRC), calling on the commission to do something about the impingement of right and freedom of Sheikh Zakzaky,

his wife and hundreds others in detention for over a year and half without trial. At the end of the protest, the students issued a press statement.

” It Is Mandatory For The NHRC To Protect The Rights Of All IMN Brothers And Sisters*_

It is universally accepted by all civilised Countries and Nations most especially those that advocate for Democracy that, any system of rules and regulations or principle that govern the conducts of Citizens of that country must be followed.

Base on this , we will like the National Human Right Commission to remind the Nigerian Police that;

According to the Laws of our country, it is the right of citizens to conduct peaceful rallies, procession demonstrations. It is a right guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution and any law that attempts to curtail such right is null and void and of no consequence.

If while acting in an official capacity, the Nigerian Police Code of conduct states that police officers shall maintain a neutral position with regard to the merits of any labour dispute, political protest, or other public demonstration, then why is the Nigerian Police forcing students of the Islamic Movement, friends and sympathisers to keep mute on the issue of the Zaria Massacre through different forms of intimidations and harassments?

The Nigerian Police are suppose to protect brothers and sisters of the Islamic Movement against all kind of harms not attacking them or killing them.

Why is the Nigerian Police breaking the Laws of our country? Is this the “Democracy” people voted for? Clearly this is an act of oppression.

We will take legal action on any further attack against students of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria by the Nigerian Police.

We call on the NHRC to facilitate the immediate and unconditional release of Shaikh Zakzaky, his wife and other detained innocent Nigerians.

On a final note , we urge the NHRC to condemn the unconstitutional attack of the students of the Islamic Movement, friends and sympathisers of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria by the Nigerian Police and other security operatives.
