Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham suffers heavy losses in failed Daraa offensive

The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched a new offensive in Dara’a City this week, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) last positions inside the Al-Manishiyah District.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham began their offensive by storming the Syrian Arab Army’s positions in the northern sector of Al-Manishiyah; this resulted in a fierce battle on Tuesday morning.

However, despite their best effort to take control of this strategic checkpoint in the Al-Manishiyah District, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham were unable to make any headway today.

According to a military source in Dara’a, the Syrian Arab Army and their Russian allies killed well over 20 casualties in today’s assault, forcing the jihadist rebels to once again retreat to safety in order to avoid more losses.
