Hezbollah attacks ‘israeli’ sites in the northern occupied regions

Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance group has announced targeting Israeli regime positions in the northern region of the occupied territories, as tensions continue to rise along the border.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Hezbollah declared that it had targeted multiple Israeli military sites along with the Kiryat Shmona settlement in the northern occupied territories.

According to reports from Israeli media, multiple fatalities and 30 injuries have been confirmed.

The Lebanese resistance group announced that it has “directly” targeted and struck Israeli surveillance equipment, which was recently mounted on a crane at the border, using a drone equipped with explosives.

Hezbollah released video footage showing its recent attacks on Israeli military positions over the past several days, which included the use of anti-tank guided missiles.

Video captured the instant when a Hezbollah rocket hit a soccer field in the northern Druze town of Majdal Shams.

This marks one of the most lethal Hezbollah assaults on Israeli positions since the onset of the US-Israeli conflict in October of last year.

On Sunday, Hezbollah unleashed numerous rockets and drones targeting deep within the occupied territories. This action was described as an “initial response” to the Israeli elimination of senior commander Fuad Shukr in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahieh.

The Lebanese resistance group announced that it launched over 320 rockets and several explosive drones aimed at 11 military bases in northern Israel. This attack also triggered sirens in the coastal city of Acre, Katzrin in the occupied Golan Heights, and various settlements in the Galilee.

Hezbollah launched a substantial missile attack on numerous sites, including military barracks and Iron Dome installations of the occupying forces in the northern occupied territories. Among the targeted locations were the Meron Base, the Naftali Ze’ev artillery position, the Zaitoun Base, and the Yardan Base in the Golan Heights.

In response to the retaliatory attacks, the Israeli government announced a 48-hour state of emergency, triggering widespread panic throughout the occupied territories.

Since early October last year, the Lebanese resistance movement and Israel have been involved in deadly exchanges of fire. This escalation started shortly after Israel initiated a genocidal assault on the Gaza Strip, which followed a surprise attack by resistance groups there.

Hezbollah has pledged to persist with its counterattacks as long as Israel continues its military operations in Gaza, which have already resulted in the deaths of over 40,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, in the region.

Hezbollah representatives have consistently stated that they do not seek conflict with Israel, but emphasize that they are ready should it happen.
