Hezbollah Denounces Savage Crime in Iraq

Hezbollah condemned savage crime perpetrated by ISIL terrorist group in south Iraq and led to the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Iraqi citizens and Iranian pilgrims.

In a statement released by Hezbollah Media Relations office, the Lebanese resistance movement offered condolences to the Iraqi government and families of martyrs in both Iraq and Iran.

“The crime is continuation of the systematic genocide and destruction carried out by terrorist in Iraq and the entire region in a bid to implement a spoiled ideology that permits blood shedding and to fulfill the goals of some international and regional states,” the statement said.

Hezbollah also called to exert efforts on all levels in order to crush the Takfiri terrorist organizations everywhere.

Earlier on Thursday, dozens of people were martyred, including Iranian pilgrims in twin gun and car bomb attacks near the city of Nasiriyah in southern Iraq.
