Hezbollah Retaliates Against Habariyeh Massacre with Missile Strike on ‘israeli’ Brigade Command in Kiryat Shmona

In response to the massacre in Al-Habbariyeh, southern Lebanon, Hezbollah launched a targeted missile strike on the “Kiryat Shmona” settlement and the leadership of the “769th Brigade” in the Israeli occupation army. Dozens of missiles were fired, causing damage and casualties within the settlement.

The Israeli occupation acknowledged the impact of the operation, confirming the killing of an Israeli citizen as a result of a direct hit on a factory in Kiryat Shmona. Israeli media reported two casualties in total and noted the response came after the massacre in Lebanon and in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Hezbollah issued a statement condemning the Israeli aggression in Al-Habbariyeh and vowed that such actions would not go unpunished. The missile strike was a clear message of retaliation against the occupation forces. Israeli media reported additional missile strikes near the Upper Galilee Council.

The situation remains tense in Kiryat Shmona, with the aftermath of the missile strike causing widespread damage and fear among residents. The Israeli Channel 12 correspondent described the morning as uneasy, with rockets targetting multiple areas in the direction of the settlement.

Prior to the bombing in Hebbariyeh, an Israeli warplane had bombarded a farm in the plains of the town of Iaat west of the city of Baalbek in the Bekaa region, northeast Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom of four people. The Emergency and Relief Corps of the Lebanese Succour Association pointed out that this aggression by Israeli occupation forces is a clear violation of international laws. They hold the Israeli forces entirely responsible for these brutal acts.

Israeli airstrikes have also been reported in several other locations, including between the towns of Beit Yahoun and Baraachit, as well as the outskirts of the towns of Houla, Kfar Chouba, and Kfar Kila. The violence has not been limited to airstrikes, as Israeli artillery shelling targeted Wadi al-Saluki, and warplanes attacked the surroundings of the al-Hermel district in northeastern Lebanon.
