The Saudi-led war on Yemen is the latest in the political discussions in Lebanon.
During an interview with the national Syrian news channel Hezbollah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that all the conflicts in the region stem from political motives not sectarian issues.

He said the main reason behind the war on Syria was Syria’s independence from any western dictates which led many western and Arab states to rigorously fund terrorism in the country:
Saudi Arabia’s air campaign against Yemen started on March 26 without a UN mandate in an effort to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

On the streets of Beirut people seem to be frustrated as conflicts engulf the Arab world.

Despite the polarization among the politicians in Lebanon, on the streets of Beirut most people believe that Saudi Arabia and Yemen should end their differences peacefully. Hezbollah has stressed that the West has a major role in sowing the seeds of conflict in the region while people are the ones who should have the final say in any tension that takes place.
