Sayyed Ibrahim Amin Al-Sayyed, head of the Hezbollah Politburo, declared on Thursday that future generations will seek retribution against oppressors.

During the observance of Ashura on the eighth evening of Muharram, Sayyed Amin Al-Sayyed conveyed deep sorrow over the passing of the late Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah. He was martyred in a significant Israeli offensive on Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh, on September 27, 2024.

A speaker took to the stage, stating they were standing in a spot where Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, revered by many as a significant martyr within the Ummah, previously addressed the masses.

He commended Sayyed Nasrallah for his leadership and dedication to the concerns of the broader Muslim Ummah.

Sayyed Amin Al-Sayyed, speaking at the Sayyed Shuhada Complex in Dahiyeh, described him as a “Sultan of the hearts,” asserting that history will inscribe his name in golden letters.

In a statement, a Hezbollah official expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Sayyed Nasrallah, describing the grief as natural. The official emphasized the importance of thwarting the plans orchestrated by those responsible for Sayyed Nasrallah’s assassination, urging supporters to take a stand in honor of the revered leader.

He then spoke directly to the authoritarian leaders, warning them to “anticipate a generation seeking vengeance. Your era has ended, and we will persist in our efforts to uphold this cause.”

Meanwhile, Sayyed Amin Al-Sayyed remarked that adversaries opposed Iran due to its support for Palestine and the resistance movement.

In light of the situation, he questioned, “Which nation globally would have the courage to align with Palestine?”
